this is gonna be a long, long, long post. so bear with me here. thankz. i'll post all about Band Camp. from the first day to the last. ENJOY! =] LOL.
1st day -->
got seperated into our groups. mine is Doraemon but later changed to Spiderman. played some games like passing the sticks & if the music stops whoever is holding the sticks will have to stand in the middle and do something.
& afterwards we did some discussing on the cheers that we want. practiced it a little bit and later we headed down for lunch. the food was ok luh. not to my liking but its alright.
after that we had band practice for the song, Pirates of the Carribean (??) & Sock Hop Tonight. praticed a little on the National Anthem & School Song too. later we had to practice the marching. it was pretty simple. i guess. & pretty confusing too.
had dinner afterwards & later we had 2 hrs to do our own stuffs. we talked lah all the way. nothing better to do. =] 2 hrs passed & we moved our bags from the Band Room to the hall. we slept there, FYI.
played some more games ex. Shopping List, where we have to get all the things that were on our list. we were the last team. but i don't care. =] there was still alot of games but im kinda lazy to post it. haha. lazy me.
we went to take a bath after those games & slept afterwards. couldn't sleep that night 'cause it was freakingly hot. trust me, it was.
2nd day -->
wake up at 6.50, took a bath & headed for breakfast at 7.45. we are early birds! yeah. hahahaha. hahaha. hah. -_-" had pizzas.
after breakfast, we had to do some spring cleaning like polishing all the instruments in the Band Room. pretty tiring. shifted all the instruments out, including the platforms in the Band Room. heavy indeed.
& later, the Sec 1s helped the Camp Commandents to prepare the games later that afternoon. filled those plastic bags with water for the wet games. so called Water Boms. & after that, shifted back all the things inside the Band Room. tired bebeh. =]
afterwards, we had wet games. FUNFUN! threw water boms at each other luh. hehe. & shoot-ed each other using our water guns. hehe. =] played many more games but as usual, im lazy. haha. =]
after all the games are over right, Noni, the Camp Commandent asked all of us to close our eyes + look down at the same time. she told us to think how they could improve on this camp and whatsoever lah. & we did. suddenly halfway thinking, the seniors splashed water at us luh. haha! FUNFUN! =] we were all soaking wet after that. =] LOL.
we went to take a bath + change our clothes & got ready for dinner. after dinner, we helped prepare the stage using the canteen tables & chairs. & also the benches for us to sit. FYI, it was for the campfire. after all that, the campfire was being lighted by Mr Goh (Band). & we had 1 hr to prepare for our teams' mascot, cheer & also performance. my group is doing a skit.
after 1 hr, settled down. did the cheers & performance. the performance was fun larh! the other teams gave their support. thank you! =D i <33>bebeh! LOL. =] after the campfire ended we got ready for the Treasure Hunt.
it was 10++ where we had to do the Treasure Hunt. & we got to know that the seniors placed some 'props' around the school. we went to the hall & we saw this pontianak hanging in the middle of the stage luh. OMG! it was soo damn real man! FYI, all the lights are off except for the toilets. & somemore each group are only allowed to use 1 torchlight.
after getting the next clue, we decided to go to the 3rd floor & we did. suddenly halfway there, Kenneth (Leader) screamed, & the others did. & we quickly ran down the stairs. but later we decided to just go upstairs. suddenly, when i turned on my right, there's this pontianak standing just beside the stairs. i screamed, & the others did too. but i told them to calm down 'cause it was just a prop. & they did. PHEW!
after all that, they had enough, so they quit. actually i wanna continue u know, but 1 for all, all for 1. we went straight to the Band Room after that. the other groups still have the nerve to go again. like OMG! their soo brave can! & i got to know that MeiLing (Patricks' leader) knocked down the props intentionally. LOL. so brave! =]
went to take our bags after that & went straight to the hall to sleep. but Jason bought some ice-creams for us. so we ate it then we went to sleep. it was 1++ am when we decided to sleep.
3rd day -->
woke up at 7, took a bath, packed our bags & headed down for breakfast. after that went to the Band Room to give out prizes for those teams who won something during the camp. my group won the Best Mascot category. yeah! all the other teams won something too. but the overall winner is Mickey Mouse. congrats!
the seniors presented something for the graduating seniors. & after those speech, we went home. HOME SWEET HOME!
Ps: now ShaSha;3rd sis is out for camp at Punggol for 5 days. yeah! she won't bother me & lil sis again. haha! so bad huh? LOL. =] & Happy Belated Birthday MOM! (150607) & Happy Fathers Day DAD! (160607)
